Aleksandra Mihajlovski
Executive Director
She studies sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. She has been engaged in social activism since high school. She volunteers in numerous youth programs such as the Erasmus Student Network and the Red Cross Pancevo. She advocates for equal opportunities for vulnerable groups and for improving their status in society. The lack of accessibility in our country, as a problem she often encountered, is in her opinion something that created apparent barriers between people and dehumanized many people in many ways. She, and the rest of the team, decided it was time to change that.
Ljupka Mihajlovska
Program Director
She graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade. She has been engaged in activism for two decades, in the field of human rights, with a special focus on the position of persons with disabilities. In the period from 2016 to 2020, she gained political experience as a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and was appointed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia as the President of the Working Group for Improving Accessibility in 2019. She initiated and implemented numerous international and national projects and training sessions related to improving the position of vulnerable social groups. She works as a consultant for several international organizations. She is the president of the Steering Committee of the Serbian Alliance for Accessibility. She is the author and co-author of several publications and reports in the field of accessibility and human rights of persons with disabilities.
Vladimir Đurić
Project Manager
A mechanical engineer by education, with over 20 years of managerial career in insurance for several foreign companies. He dealt with European integration, elections, agriculture, and economic topics. For several years now, he has been writing and managing projects with a special focus on financial management. He is familiar with numerous digital tools for administrative and financial business. He is a member of the Assembly of the Alliance for Accessibility of Serbia.
Ivana Milosavljević
Web Accessibility Consultant
She graduated in Economics with advanced knowledge of PHP Back-End and Front- End developers acquired at Comtrade Code Academy. As a freelance web developer, she has worked on various projects that include website optimization, as well as web accessibility that allows people to use the internet regardless of their disabilities. She currently works as an Accessibility Engineer, website content auditor, and web accessibility assessor. She created the website you are currently visiting, especially taking into account accessibility, as well as the website of the Serbian Alliance for Accessibility which, in addition to the website of ZAPO, is one of the most accessible websites in Serbia. Maja Ilić
Culture and Information Advisor
She is an art historian, journalist, and activist for human rights, minority rights, and disability rights and accessibility. She is an author, project coordinator, and an educator in the areas of inclusive culture, accessibility, and improvement of the position of disabled persons in the society. She is a coauthor of the publication „Indicators for measurement of inclusiveness in cultural institutions and their programs“, and the project author and the editor of the „Looping“ magazine (an inclusive magazine for human rights, hendicap, and culture). She is a member of several working groups for development of strategic documents in the area of human rights of persons with disabilities. She was a representative in the Coalition against discrimination for the duration of its activity.
